American entrepreneur, composer, and songwriter Anna Ruby Gaye (née Gordy; born January 28, 1922; died January 31, 2014).

She was the older sister of Berry Gordy, the man who founded Motown and worked as a record executive from the middle to the end of the 1950s, distributing music on Checker and Gone Records before establishing the Anna label with Billy Davis and her sister Gwen Gordy Fuqua.
