Ronald James Padavona, known professionally as Ronnie James Dio, was an American heavy metal singer. He fronted and founded numerous bands throughout his career, including Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio, and Heaven & Hell.

Dio worked hard as a musician and was able to acquire wealth for himself. He began his career in 1957, when he and several Cortland, New York, musicians formed the band The Vegas Kings. The group’s lineup consisted of Dio on bass guitar, Billy DeWolfe on lead vocals, Nick Pantas on guitar, Tom Rogers on drums, and Jack Musci on saxophone. The band changed its name to Ronnie and the Rumblers.

Dio music was true and beautiful to the hearest because of the great sense of humor he has for his music. Unfortunately for him, things didn’t go well as planned for Dio on November 25, 2009, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and died of the disease six months later on May 16, 2010, at the age of 68 years.

At the time of his death, Dio was with his second wife whom he married in 1978 called Wendy Walters. She was born in 1945. Dio does not have any biological children, but he has one adopted son with his first wife name Loretta Berardi.

Dio’s next of kin could be his son and his second wife who could be the ones to inherit his money and the estate or it could be given to charity works as donations since he did not leave a will on how his properties should be shared.
