Robert Anthony Plant CBE is a popular English singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the English rock band Led Zeppelin for all of its existence from 1968 until their split in 1980 following the death of John Bonham, the band’s drummer.

It did really well on the radio, hitting #3 on the rock radio chart and it gave the format new music from a former Zep member for the first time since the band broke up.
