What is Adele’s condition?
Adele has a condition known as vocal fold haemorrhage.
According to Adele, a vocal fold haemorrhage resembles a “black eye” on the vocal fold. The vocal fold has several blood arteries, most of which are typically rather tiny. One of the veins ruptures during a haemorrhage, allowing blood to infiltrate between the layers of the vocal fold.
Adele also revealed she is suffering from a type of nerve pain. She mentioned in a 2021 magazine interview that she has suffered from two slipped disks in her back.
Adele told the publication that by toning her abs while dieting, she was able to relieve her back issue.
