Artis Leon Ivey Jr., an American rapper, chef, record producer, and actor, was born on August 1st, 1963. He is best known for the 1995 song “Gangsta’s Paradise,” from his second album, which featured Larry Sanders, better known by his stage as L.V.

The hip-hop group The WC and the Maad Circle, founded in Los Angeles, California, included Coolio as a member. He won a Grammy for the song “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which is quite well-known.

Coolio’s life started to change as he moved up to the seventh grade. The bigger kids bullied him. Around the same time, Coolio’s mother and stepfather divorced.

Initially, the family was sustained by her wages; but, once she lost her job, she started abusing alcohol. The young person found himself unexpectedly without his family’s assistance. He then started running with the neighbourhood gangs and adopted the character of a lunatic.
