Artis Leon Ivey Jr., an American rapper, chef, record producer, and actor, was born on August 1st, 1963. He is best known for the 1995 song “Gangsta’s Paradise,” from his second album, which featured Larry Sanders, better known by his stage as L.V.
The hip-hop group The WC and the Maad Circle, founded in Los Angeles, California, included Coolio as a member. He won a Grammy for the song “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which is quite well-known.
