American former professional road racer Lance Edward Armstrong (born September 18, 1971), formerly Gunderson.

He was hailed as a sporting legend after winning the Tour de France seven times in a row from 1999 to 2005 after overcoming testicular cancer, but all of his victories were later revoked after it was discovered that he had taken performance-enhancing substances throughout his career.

In June 1997, Armstrong got to know Kristin Richard. A son (born in October 1999) and twin daughters (born on May 1, 1998) are the results of their marriage.

Sperm Armstrong had stored three years prior, before chemotherapy and surgery, allowed for the conceptions. In 2003, the couple got divorced.

After winning the 1999 Tour de France, Armstrong was accused of doping. He denied doping participation for many years. Armstrong was identified as the head of “the most sophisticated, professionalized, and effective doping operation that sport has ever seen,” according to a United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) investigation that found he had used performance-enhancing chemicals throughout his career in 2012.
