He had 11 sacks and 66 tackles in his two years at East Mississippi. Smith has 59 tackles, which ranked fifth in the SEC, and six sacks in his rookie season at Kentucky, starting all 12 games. Smith recorded 60 tackles and 4.5 sacks as a senior in 2014.
