He made a four-year commitment to the Bears on May 17, 2022. Jones missed the first three games of the Bears’ 2022 season with a hamstring ailment. Jones made his NFL debut in the special teams game against the New York Giants in Week 4.

Jones attended USC for his first year in college, serving as a redshirt. He was the primary kick returner for the Trojans during his redshirt freshman season, amassing 760 yards on 31 returns.

As a redshirt sophomore, Jones caught 24 passes for 266 yards and one touchdown. He scored on the ground and returned 21 kickoffs for 483 yards.
