Bosa attended St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he played for many years on the first team of the state and started for four years. Among the top players in his class, he was a five-star recruit. He agreed to play college football for Ohio State University.

Bosa’s nine sacks throughout the regular season and contribution to his team’s trip to Super Bowl LIV earned him the title of NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He is the younger brother of Joey, a linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers at the moment, and the son of former NFL defensive end John Bosa.
