Actor Miles Alexander Teller was born in the United States on February 20, 1987. He portrayed Andrew Neiman, a jazz drummer, in Whiplash, and Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, a pilot, in Top Gun: Maverick.

In addition to co-starring with Shailene Woodley in the coming-of-age drama The Spectacular Now (2013) and the Divergent movie series, Teller made his first full-length picture in 2010.
