Jake Daniel Elliott, a placekicker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League, was born on January 21, 1995.

At Memphis, he played collegiate football. He played for the Eagles in their Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots.

Elliott started playing football after a Lyons assistant coach recognized his skill during a Homecoming student field goal-kicking competition. Elliott attended Lyons Township High School in La Grange, Illinois.

He spent the three years before this at Lyons Township playing tennis. He was an ESPNHS underclassman and a First-team All-State selection by the Chicago Tribune prior to his junior season.

During his junior year, he defeated Oak-Park River Forest High School, 16–14, with a 52-yard field goal with no time left. He was chosen as Second-team kicker for Kohl’s All-American List as a senior after making 15 of 21 field goal tries. Elliott received full scholarships from the Universities of North Dakota and Memphis following his senior season.
