George Malik Pickens Jr., an American football wide receiver with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League, was born on March 4, 2001.

The Steelers selected him in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft after he played college football for Georgia.

George had his college education in Georgia. This was from 2019 to 2021.

Pickens, a freshman at Georgia in 2019, was given playing time right away and set team records for catches (49), receiving yards (727), and receiving touchdowns.

In the next year’s 8-game, COVID-19 pandemic-shortened season, Pickens caught 36 catches for 513 yards and a team-high six touchdowns.

Pickens had an ACL tear in the spring of 2021, which kept him out for most of his junior campaign.

Despite only catching five receptions in his final four games of the season, he came back to play in Georgia’s victory over Alabama in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship.
