Danielle Hunter, an outside linebacker with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League, was born in Jamaica on October 29, 1994.

At LSU, he was a collegiate football player. He was selected 88th overall in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Hunter, who was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, emigrated to the US when he was 8 years old. He was raised in Katy, Texas, a suburb of Houston, and went to Morton Ranch High School there.

After a coach observed him playing tag with another youngster who was attempting to flee on roller skates, he was enrolled in youth football.

Even though he played defensive end for the first time as a freshman due to his subpar wide receiver tryout performance, he led his football team to their first Class 5A State Playoffs berth as a junior.

In his junior year, he made 63 tackles and seven sacks. He had 30 quarterback pressures, 11 tackles for losses, 4 sacks, and 4 pass breakups as a senior.
