Where did Byron Coll go to high school?
Byron went to St Joseph’s in Papanui before transferring to St Bede’s. Coll was chosen for a weekend workshop in Taupo after his performance of The Bard, and from there he was one of 20 students flown to London, England, to perform at the restored Globe Theatre.
He only became interested in acting in his thirteenth year, when a buddy asked him to participate in the school’s Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival production. After graduating, he attempted to pursue theatre and film at the university but gave up after a short while. He claims, “I didn’t want to do it; I was simply too taken with acting, honestly.
