Cuck Berry was nicknamed the “Father of Rock and Roll”, he refined and developed rhythm and blues into the major elements that made rock and roll distinctive with songs such as “Maybellene” (1955), “Roll Over Beethoven” (1956), “Rock and Roll Music” (1957) and “Johnny B. Goode” (1958).

According to several sources, Chuck Berry died of natural causes and no autopsy is planned. He was found unresponsive at his home near Wentzville, Missouri. Emergency workers called to the scene were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead by his personal physician on March 18, 2017. According to several reports his cause of death was reported to be cardiac arrest.
