In a conversation with PEOPLE about The Osbournes Podcast, Sharon, along with her children Jack and Kelly Osbourne, discussed the negative impact of social media on young minds. Sharon firmly stated, “The worst thing that can happen to a child is an iPad and an iPhone,” emphasizing her concerns about young kids having their own social media accounts.
Jack agreed with his mother, echoing her sentiments about the dangers of children being active on social media. Sharon expressed her disbelief at the idea of young kids having the freedom to share their thoughts and content online, labeling it as “insanity.” Despite her reservations about kids and technology, Sharon revealed that she is not entirely opposed to the idea of a family TV show involving all her grandkids.
When asked about a potential collaboration with her children and grandkids for another television venture, Sharon admitted, “You should never say never, but I don’t really think about it.” She clarified that while she is not actively considering a return to reality TV, she is open to the possibility if the opportunity arises. Sharon humorously added, “they better do it quick before I croak,” hinting at her willingness to embark on a new project with her family.
