In 1970, the brothers Ciarán, Pól, and Moya Brennan, along with their uncles Noel and Padraig, created the band Clannad in Gweedore, County Donegal. According to a statement from Clannad, Noel “will be remembered for his great guitar solos, his love of music, and his dedication to the band.”
