On December 27, 1995, Nicholas Jamaal Chubb was born in Cedartown, Georgia. He was Henry Chubb’s (Father’s) and Lavelle Chubb’s youngest child (Mother).
Chubb also has a younger brother named Neidra Chubb as well as two older brothers named Zachary Chubb and Henry Chubb Jr.

Sadly, Chubb’s parents separated when he was four years old. In Cedartown, he moved in with his mother.
His parents did, however, share custody. Thus, he would remain with his father and end up in Chubbtown.
The origin of Nick Chubbs’ family name is an intriguing one. One of the eight brothers that constructed a chubb village in northwest Georgia in 1864 was Nick’s great-grandfather.
Chubbtown thrived as a self-sufficient, entirely black township with a range of markets. It lasted through both the American Civil War and the slavery system that black people had to endure.
In Cedartown, Georgia, Nick Chubb attended Cedartown High School. He later attended Georgia University from 2014 to 2017 after finishing high school.
He returned to the University and played for the final season instead of enrolling in the 2017 NFL draft.
