Mike and Angela Schneider, his longtime love, are now blissfully married. Dane Dopud and Danica Dopud are their two children.

Before assuming a more significant role as Varro on Stargate Universe, he performed innumerable stunts for Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. On those shows, he also played a variety of supporting roles.
