Mark Hoppus siblings: Meet Anne Hoppus
Mark has a sibling named Anne Hoppus. Mark has not disclosed enough information about Anne.
Before moving to Ridgecrest, California, his family lived in Washington, D.C., where Hoppus was raised.
He later characterized Ridgecrest as being home to “geniuses, scientists, physicists, and then just complete strung-out meth-heads.” Aaron and Lempi Orrenmaa, his maternal great-grandparents, were Laihia-born immigrants from Finland.
Mark’s father Tex, like many residents of Ridgecrest, designed missiles and explosives for the Navy testing facility located in the community.
Before his parents’ divorce when he was eight, which had a “drastic, unpleasant effect” on him, Hoppus remembers himself as “quite peaceful.” He declared, “My parents never fought in front of anyone. When I was seven years old, I can still hear the drained voice of rage coming from behind the door as I sit outside my parents’ chamber.
