Legendary country singer Loretta Lynn passed away quietly in her sleep on Tuesday morning at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. 90 years old was she.

Although the precise reason of death has not been disclosed. The song “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” which Lynn made famous in 1970, was a dedication to her father Melvin Webb, who passed away from black lung disease 11 years earlier.
