American country music singer and composer Loretta Lynn was born on April 14, 1932. She passed away on October 4. In a six-decade career, Lynn put out several gold records.
She had a ton of successes, including “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl,” “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind”),”One’s on the Way,” and “Fist City.” Based on her life, the 1980 movie Coal Miner’s Daughter was created.

Over the years, Lynn experienced a variety of health issues, including numerous episodes of pneumonia and a fractured arm after a fall at home.
Lynn suffered a stroke at her Hurricane Mills home in May 2017. Her forthcoming tour dates had to be cancelled after she was rushed to a hospital in Nashville. Wouldn’t It Be Great, her album, won’t be out until 2018.
At the age of 90, Lynn passed away in her sleep at her home in Hurricane Mills on October 4, 2022. No immediate cause of death was disclosed. Three days later, she was laid to rest next to her husband Oliver on their Hurricane Mills ranch.
