American singer Linda Maria Ronstadt, who is now retired, has performed and recorded songs in a range of genres, including rock, country, light opera, the Great American Songbook, and Latin.

Her birthday was July 15, 1946. In addition to two Academy of Country Music Awards, three American Music Awards, three ALMA Awards, and one Emmy, she has won 11 Grammy Awards.

Gretchen (Suzy) Ronstadt O’Brien was the sister of Michael Joseph Ronstadt, singer Linda Maria Ronstadt, and a brother who is still alive. She was the daughter of Gilbert Dalton and Ruth Mary Copeman Ronstadt.

Michael J. Ronstadt was born in Tucson on August 26, 1953. He was the youngest of Gilbert and Ruth Mary Ronstadt’s four children, who also included Linda, their older sister.

His sister compared him to Gyro Gearloose from the Donald Duck cartoons, and she recalled how her brother and Jim Brady, who is now the proprietor of a well-known Tucson recording studio, ran a cable radio station when they were 9 or 10 years old and developed numerous inventions, including a hang glider.
