Joely Kim Richardson is an English actress. She is known for her roles as Julia McNamara in the FX drama series Nip/Tuck and Queen Catherine Parr in the Showtime series The Tudors. Joely Richardson started her acting career at the age of three when she appeared as an extra in the 1968 version of The Charge of the Light Brigade, which was directed by her father Richardson.
Joely Richardson was born on January 9, 1965 (age 57 years), in Marylebone, London, United Kingdom.

Joely Kim Richardson was born in Marylebone, London, to a long line of actors and directors. She is from the theatrical Redgrave family and is the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson (1928–1991).

Joely Richardson is not the only child in her family, she has a sister who was also an actress, named Natasha Richardson. Natasha Richardson was born in 1963 but died in 2009.
