How Did Christina Aguilera get found?
Christina Aguilera had always loved to sing since she was little and was often referred to as “the girl with the big voice” in her neighborhood.
Aguilera aspired to be a singer, and won her first talent show at age eight with a rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”
Christina Aguilera along with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, got her musical start on the Disney Channel’s The New Mickey Mouse Club, after recording the song “Reflection” for the Disney movie Mulan (1998).
Right from there, Christina Aguilera signed a recording deal and released a self-titled debut album of dance-oriented pop music in 1999. Her self-titled debut album was released through RCA Records in 1999, which produced the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles “Genie in a Bottle”, “What a Girl Wants”, and “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)”.
