Hardy debut studio album was soon awarded the Trophée de la Télévision, as well as the prestigious Grand Prix du Disque award given by the Académie Charles Cros. She later stated: “It would have made me even happier if I had received it a little later for records better made than this.” On May 11, 1962, Hardy made her debut as a live performer alongside other young singers at the Disco Revue gala in Nancy.
