Fleur East gained notoriety after participating in The X Factor. She performed a solo audition in 2014 and advanced to the live shows, finishing in second place. Since then, she has seen success with singles including Sax and More and More. She then competed in the 2018 season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here and placed fourth.
The 34-year-old East started hosting the Hits Radio breakfast program and making appearances on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway in recent years.
As Week 3 of the contest approaches, Fleur East is returning to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, but last Sunday was a close call for the Sax singer. Despite rising to sixth place on the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard following last week’s live show, the former X Factor contestant found herself in the bottom two.

With this being said many of her die-hard fans have begun searching for who her real father and mother are.
It is interesting to note Fleur East is of mixed race. Her biological father, Malcolm East, is British while her mum, Irene Frimpong-Manso is a Ghanaian. Her parents had two daughters; herself and her younger sister Keshia East.
