Linda Maria Ronstadt was a well-decorated singer of the 1960s. She is an eleven-time Grammy Award winner, a three-time American Music Awards receiver and also a two-time Academy of Country Music holder. In addition, she has an Emmy Award, and an ALMA Award to her name. Most of her albums also received gold, platinum, or multiplatinum certification both domestically and abroad.
She however retired in 2011. Linda is an American who has worked and recorded in a variety of musical genres, including rock, country, light opera, the Great American Songbook, and Latin. She was born on July 15, 1946.
After noticing a decline in her singing voice in 2000, Ronstadt reduced her output in the music industry. Her final full-length album was released in 2004 and she gave her final live performance in 2009.
