Daniel Jacob Radcliffe is an English actor who rose to fame at age twelve when he began portraying Harry Potter in the film series of the same name and has held various other film and theatre roles. Over his career, Radcliffe has received various awards and nominations.
Daniel Radcliff was born on  July 23, 1989 (age 33 years), in Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
In 2008, Radcliffe revealed that he has a mild form of the neurological disorder dyspraxia, which sometimes prevents him from doing a simple task.

Daniel’s paternal grandparents are Elsie and Teddy  Radcliffe. Daniel’s mother was birthed by a Jewish family who emigrated from Lithuania, Germany, Poland, and finally to England. Daniel’s maternal grandparents were Wilfred Jacobson and Muriel Jean.

Daniel Radcliffe’s parents are Alan Radcliffe and Marcia Gresham. Alan also happens to be an actor who was born in Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom.

His Jewish mother was born in South Africa, traces her ancestry to Jewish immigrants from Germany, Lithuania, Poland, and Russia, and was raised in the English town of Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex. His Northern Irish father was raised in a “very working-class” Protestant family in Banbridge in County Down.
