On Celebrity Big Brother 6, Coolio finished third. He departed the house in 2010 after several altercations with Nadia Almada and other contestants on Ultimate Big Brother UK.

In January 2012, he appeared as a representative of Music Saves Lives on the Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off episode of the Food Network. He appeared in Sabrina the Teenage Witch as well.

On June 30, 2013, Coolio shot Wife Swap, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars with Matthew Wolfenden from Emmerdale and comedian Jenny Eclair. On June 30, 2012, Coolio gave a wax figure speech in Gravity Falls. He portrays a geeky “present wrapper” in “Homie-Work,” a 1998 episode of The Nanny, whom the Jewish nanny transforms into a “Rapper” for Maxwell Sheffield’s new rap musical.

In 2014, Coolio made a cameo on the Black Jesus song “Gangsta’s Paradise.”

 

Coolio awards and nominations

“Pastime Paradise,” Coolio’s 1995 cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Gangsta’s Paradise,” was recognized with several awards, including Best Rap Solo Performance at the Grammy Awards and Best Rap Video and Best Video from a Film at the MTV Video Music Awards. Favourite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist at the 1996 American Music Awards was one of Coolio’s many awards.

For Gangsta’s Paradise, Coolio was nominated for three 1997 Grammy Awards: Best Rap Album; Best Rap Solo Performance; and Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for “Stomp.” Fourteen nominations resulted in a total of five prizes for Coolio.
