The death of one of the finest American rappers has caused quite a stir among several hip-hop fans across the globe. On September 28, 2022, Coolio was discovered unconscious on the washroom floor at a friend’s residence in Los Angeles.
He was 59 years old when first responders declared him dead. Although no foul play is suspected, the police have begun an inquiry into his death, and according to Coolio’s manager, he appears to have had a heart attack.

He shares the same parents with him. Jackie Slater and Artis Leon Ivey Sr. are the biological parents of Coolio and his younger brother Malieek Straughter.
