Rapper Coolio, who achieved one of the decade’s biggest singles with Gangsta’s Paradise, has reportedly passed away at the age of 59.
And Michelle Pfeiffer, the actress who played the lead in his biggest hit, led today’s tributes to the late rapper, expressing her “heartbreak.”
According to TMZ, the rapper died on Wednesday at a friend’s house in Los Angeles. Coolio, real name Artis Leon Ivey Jr., had excused himself to use the restroom, according to his manager.
