Caetano Veloso, original name Caetano Emanuel Vianna Telles Velloso, (born August 7, 1942, Santo Amaro da Purificação, Bahia, Brazil), a Brazilian songwriter and musician who emerged in the 1960s as a leading figure in Brazil’s Tropicália movement.

Veloso is a great singer who has gained fame for his worth. He has won nine Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards, and on November 14, 2012, Veloso was honored as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.

Caetano Veloso was born in Santo Amaro da Purificação, Bahia, Brazil into a lovely home. His parents are José Teles Veloso and Claudionor Viana Teles Veloso. Caetano Veloso’s father had lived from 1901–1983 and his mother had lived from 1907–2012.
