Rapper and actress Calesha “Bre-Z” Murray was born in the United States on July 22, 1987.
She is most recognized for her roles as Freda Gatz in the television series Empire and Tamia “Coop” Cooper in the American drama series All American.

At the age of 14, Bre-Z started her musical career by doing spontaneous performances all across Philadelphia. She would sing her brother’s songs until she started making her own rap music.
She first heard Freeway by the rap group State Property when she was 15 years old on Roc-A-Fella Records. Her debut single was co-written and co-recorded in a studio with Freeway.
