Robertson represented Louisiana Tech University from 2017 until 2019. He began in his first year and continued in the role throughout his time in college. He was a rookie when he won the Defensive MVP honor at the 2017 Frisco Bowl.
In his junior year, the Football Writers Association of America named him to their first team of All-Americans (FWAA). By the time his career was through, he had 184 tackles, 14 interceptions, four sacks, and three touchdowns. After his junior season, he missed his senior year and the NFL Draft.
