Barbra Streisand made her decision to retire from performing live and gave farewell concerts she gave in New York and Los Angeles. She says the demands of performing in front of a live audience the necessary voice pampering and the public’s high expectations have proven to be too much.

Despite her storied career, Streisand admitted that she struggles with performing after taking 27 years off due to stage fright.
