According to Steve Perry’s biography, Shamela was born out of a short fling relationship with her mother when Steve was about 21 years old. Her mother moved to North Carolina after getting pregnant and she kept it as a secret from Steve until Shamela turned 13.
She is now married and has two sons. Pictures of Steve and her daughter have made the rounds over the Internet, but he still prefers to keep his family affairs out of the public limelight.
