A singer, songwriter, and guitarist from the United States, Emmylou Harris was born on April 2, 1947.
Over the course of her career, she has put out a large number of albums and singles and has garnered numerous accolades, including 14 Grammy Awards, the Polar Music Prize, and induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
She has also been nominated for numerous other awards, including the Pulitzer Prize and the Polar Music Prize. 2018 saw the awarding of the Grammy Lifetime Achievement to her.
