Linda Ronstadt had a thrilling career span of a little over four decades. Ronstadt was praised for having the guts to put her “mark” on many of her songs and for being a “interpreter of her times.” However, several people attacked her hits for being cover songs.

Before the American musician finally retired in 2011, she had received numerous awards including eleven Grammies, an Emmy, an ALMA Award, among many others.

Linda Ronstadt is still alive as of January 2023 although she retired from singing in 2011 as a result of being plaqued with a rare illness that affects the brain known as Supranuclear palsy. The musician is 76 at the moment and was born July 15, 1946, in Tucson, Arizona.
