John Winston Ono Lennon, popularly known as John Lenno was an English singer, songwriter, musician and peace activist who achieved worldwide fame as founder, co-songwriter, co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Beatles. He was born to his parents on October 9, 1940, in Liverpool Maternity Hospital but sadly passed away on December 8, 1980, after he was shot twice in the back.
