Yanna McIntosh is a Jamaican-born Canadian television, film, and theater actress.
McIntosh studied at the University of Toronto and the Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University, where she received acting training for stage productions. McIntosh instructed theatre students at the National Theatre School of Canada and Humber College.

Yanna McIntosh was the first person ever to win the Toronto Theatre Critics’ Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in Ruined in 2011. McIntosh also won the 2011 Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Principal Role for this role.
Yanna McIntosh won the 2007 Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series for her role as Pat Barrows in the 2006 made-for-TV film Doomstown.
