According to Piers Morgan, last year’s contentious departure from ITV’s Good Morning Britain was “a farce,” but it “focused everyone’s minds” on free speech.

In addition to airing in the US and Australia, Piers Morgan Uncensored will be broadcast on the new TalkTV channel in the UK.

Last March, Morgan departed the morning programme because he “didn’t believe a word” Meghan said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Before the premiere of his new programme, Morgan said: “I used to think I was uncensored but it turns out that I actually was when I left Good Morning Britain and was told I had to apologise for not believing Princess Pinocchio or I would have to leave the premises.
“So I took the leave-the-building option, which I thought was a sad moment for me and for the show. I thought it was the wrong call by ITV.
