Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer (born March 27, 1969).

Her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, distinctive usage of the whistle register, and composition have earned her the moniker “Songbird Supreme.” She has also been referred to as the “Queen of Christmas” due to the lasting success of her holiday songs, notably the 1994 Christmas song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Born on October 8, 1980, Nicholas Scott Cannon is an American television personality, actor, rapper, and comedian. Before hosting The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer, Cannon made his television debut as a youngster on All That. He appeared as an actor in the movies Roll Bounce, Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Drumline.

He debuted as a rapper in 2003, the same year that song “Gigolo,” a joint effort with singer R. Kelly, was published. In the movie Goal II: Living the Dream, he portrayed the fictitious player TJ Harper in 2007. The tracks “Dime Piece” and “My Wife” were recorded by Cannon in 2006 for the upcoming album Stages, which was never published.

While filming the music video for her song “Bye Bye” on an island off the coast of Antigua, she got to know actor and comedian Nick Cannon.

On April 30, 2008, they got hitched in the Bahamas. Carey lost her pregnancy that same year. On April 30, 2011, she underwent a cesarean surgery to give birth to their fraternal twins, Moroccan and Monroe, at 35 weeks into her subsequent pregnancy.  Cannon announced his and Carey’s breakup in August 2014.   On December 12th, 2014, he filed for divorce, and it was completed in 2016.
