In a touching post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the 58-year-old former Real Housewives of New York City star remembered the day in memory of her late husband. Bobby, who was 71 years old when he passed away on January 13, 2018, fought cancer for a protracted period of time.
Bobby underwent thyroid surgery after being initially diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009. To eliminate hidden cancer cells, he underwent radioactive iodine therapy. Bobby was eventually admitted to the hospital in July 2017, and Jill remained by his side until his death in January 2018.
