Ime Sunday Udoka is a Nigerian-American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association, currently suspended by the team for the 2022–23 season. He represented the Nigeria national team during his playing career.

Ime was born on August 9, 1977, in Portland, Oregon, the United States to his parents Vitalis Udoka. He is of African ethnicity specifically Nigeria and holds an American nationality. He is not the only child of his parents, he has two siblings a brother name James Udoka and a sister name Mfon Udoka.

Mfon Sunday Udoka is a Nigerian-American former professional basketball player who is an assistant coach for the Nigeria women’s national basketball team, the D’Tigress. She was born in Portland, Oregon, she graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School (1994) in Portland before attending DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois from 1994 to 1998. She is the sister of coach and former NBA player Ime Udoka. She was born on June 16, 1976, and she is currently 46 years old.

Mfon stands at a height of 6 feet and 0 inches tall (1.83 m) and weighs 187 Ib (85kg).

Mfon led the Nigeria women’s national basketball team to the 2004 Summer Olympics. At the Olympics, she was second in the tournament in scoring and rebounding but Nigeria finished 11th out of 12 teams. They became the first African team to ever win a game at the Olympics. She also led Nigeria at the 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women, where Nigeria finished in the last (16th) place.

In May 2011, Mfon was named as the new Assistant Coach for the Nigeria women’s national basketball team D’Tigress as they prepare for the African Nations Cup in Mali and the All Africa Games.
