Casper Robert Van Dien Jr. (born December 18, 1968) is an actor from the United States. He is most recognized for playing Johnny Rico in the science-fiction action picture Starship Troopers in 1997. He’s also acted in a slew of television and film roles, most notably in the daytime and primetime soap operas, as well as a slew of TV movies and direct-to-video films, including Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, a 2008 sequel to the original film.
