Tom Owen was a British actor who was best known for playing Tom Simmonite in the longest-running sitcom in history, Last of the Summer Wine.
He was born Thomas William Stevenson Rowbotham and died on November 8, 2022. He was the son of Bill Owen, who portrayed Tom Simmonite’s father in the show, William “Compo” Simmonite.
