The Met Gala has over the years been a wonderful program that is held once for the world to witness a lot of celebrities walk down the magnificent red carpet to display their beautiful and extraordinary outfits at the Met Gala.
The Met Gala which is also called Met Ball formerly called the Costume Institute Gala or the Costume Institute Benefit is an annual fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.
Who are some of the most iconic Met Gala hosts?
Ever since the establishment of the Met Gala in 1948 by fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert as a fundraiser for the newly founded Costume Institute to mark the opening of its annual exhibit. The Met Gala has had wonderful hosts over the years that help British-American journalist Anna Wintour, who is the editor-in-chief of Vogue, she has chaired or co-chaired the Met Gala since 1995 and still doing it to date.
In the year 2022, the hosts for the Met Gala were Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and as usual, Anna Wintour. They also served as the night’s official co-chairs.
