Ime Udoka, the head coach of the Boston Celtics, has been expelled for the 2022–23 campaign after establishing a romantic relationship with female staff.
For violating of team’s policies as head coach, Udoka, who earlier this year guided the Celtics to the NBA Finals in his first season as head coach, has been suspended until further notice.
The 45-year-old’s future beyond 2022–2023 will be decided at a later stage, the organization added and his assistant coach Joe Mazzulla will be given the node temporarily.
